Island Boathouse Stoney Lake
This island boathouse on Stoney Lake addressed our client’s frustrations with being bombarded by weeds and waves while spending precious time at their island cottage.
Throughout our initial planning stages, the team determined that it would be critical to the scope of work to create a foundation placement that could avoid in-water and ice exposure.
The interior of the boathouse space includes a a set of stairs that leads to a 2nd storey loft space for storage. Two boat lifts allow for ease of use and storage. The steel roof of the boathouse matches the cottage and the structure is bordered by composite decking.
