Stoney Lake Cottage Kitchen Renovation
This Stoney Lake cottage kitchen renovation, although a fresh new space, needed to maintain a charming, period feel to match the century old cottage surrounding it on Stoney Lake.
The project was a wonderful collaboration between designers Lisa Besseling, Debra Ramsay and our team at KLC to help create a space that eliminated 3 small rooms which were opened up into 1 larger space. This change allowed the creation of a grand island and open format room.
Soap stone counters, quarter sawn oak cabinetry and replica entry door along with light fixturing and original cook top stove and V-joint panelling created the ambiance of always being there. Even the floors were brand new but beaten and scraped into a state of feeling a century old.
